STUDIO 211 PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

The Studio 211 Performance Program is available to students currently enrolled in private guitar, bass, vocal or group lessons. There is an extra fee to participate in the Performance Program and this fee varies depending on the venue costs, video production/editing, extra pro-musicians hired such as drummers, keyboards, horn sections etc, as well as the number of students participating in the Performance Program. The largest Showcase Concert each year happens at the end of May and rehearsals for this show begin in early March. Times, days and length of rehearsals will vary. This is an intensive program and is open to all age groups from beginner to advanced levels. Typically, beginner students who enroll for private or group sessions in the fall may be eligible to participate in the Performance Program and Showcase Concert in May. Eligibility and sign up for the Performance Program occurs during mid February. All students are assessed prior to enrollment to determine level and suitability for the program.

Performance Program
Playing in a group just for fun is a great way to enhance your musical skill level while enjoying playing music with other people. Students are arranged in terms of their skill levels and more or less in their general age group. People are welcome to join with a friend or two and small groups consist of up to a maximum of four people. The groups are open to guitar, bass, drums, piano and vocalists. An electric drum kit and piano are available in the studio.
